Lesson: CCSS: Math: Comparing Numbers: Between 0 and 20
This intermediate learner Lesson will help students be able to compare if numbers of objects in one group are greater than, less than, or equal to the number of objects in another group by using matching and counting strategies.
To download lessons from the shared library:
1. Click on the Shared Library tab on the left side of the screen in the Oneder Editor
2. Locate the desired lesson
3. Click ‘Download’ for desired lesson
4. The lesson will appear under your lessons in the teacher dashboard. From here it can be edited, assigned to students, and published.
To differentiate this lesson
Beginner Learner: Incorporate a video model to show strategies used to solve Greater than, Less than or Equal problems, and count quantity.
Advanced Learner: Incorporate a schedule to demonstrate the steps taken to solve Greater Than, Less Than or Equal.
Standard Targeted within this lesson
Count to answer “how many?” questions about as many as 20 things arranged in a line, a rectangular array, or a circle, or as many as 10 things in a scattered configuration; given a number from 1—20, count out that many objects. [K.CC.5]
