Lesson: Going on a Shape Hunt
Grade: Grade 1
In this advanced learner lesson the student will integrate mathematics and literacy in order to develop an understanding of the place of mathematics in their world.
To download lessons from the shared library:
1. Click on the Shared Library tab on the left side of the screen in the Oneder Editor
2. Locate the desired lesson
3. Click ‘Download’ for desired lesson
4. The lesson will appear under your lessons in the teacher dashboard. From here it can be edited, assigned to students, and published.

Beginner Learner: Incorporate Visual story to teach about different shapes, and incorporate a video model.
Advanced Learner: Incorporate a matching activity regarding shapes in different environments, where student will have to identify the shapes in different contexts

Compose two-dimensional shapes (rectangles, squares, trapezoids, triangles, half-circles, and quarter-circles) or three-dimensional shapes (cubes, right rectangular prisms, right circular cones, and right circular cylinders) to create a composite shape, and compose new shapes from the composite shape.
