In this intermediate 3rd grade lesson the student will learn the basic concept of a Compound word, and will also be related to words that have to do with the season Autumn. Through both a video and activities, such as Matching, sorting and scramble worksheet the students will need to integrate the knowledge they have gained to answer these activities correctly.

You can also add a schedule to demonstrate efficient strategies to solve the matching and sorting activities that have been created.

Advanced Learner- incorporate a text paragraph with description of compound words and a worksheet for students to create compound words from different words they will see. Create a Question activity with different compound words for the students to detect/complete.
