1. Arrive to Work on Time
Who is it for: Intermediate learners
In this scene you will find a visual story on how to prepare for arriving to work on time.

To Differentiate:
• For beginner learners: Incorporate a visual schedule to support telling time.
• For advanced learners: Incorporate a choice board that has folders for each day and the student’s work schedule as buttons in each.

 

2. Turn Taking in a Conversation
Who is it for: Intermediate learners
In this scene you will a variety of auditory output to support your student asking questions to a peer or adult.

To Differentiate:
• For beginner learners: Incorporate a video model that just targets the student asking questions.
• For advanced learners: Incorporate a visual schedule as a reminder of questions the student can ask.

 

3. Work Readiness Task
Who is it for: Intermediate learners
In this scene you will find a video model of sorting silverware and choice boards to support the student in answering questions related to the task.

To Differentiate:
• For beginner learners: Isolate sorting silverware in various environments and with varying sizes to ensure comprehension.
• For intermediate learners: Swap out the video model for image hotspots of work tasks the student has and will be performing.

 

4. Daily Routine Supports, Laundry
Who is it for: Advanced learners
In this scene you will find a choice board of supplies and a visual schedule for washing and drying laundry.

To Differentiate:
• For beginner learners: Incorporate video models for each step within the visual schedule.
• For intermediate learners: Choose a single step or a chain of 2-3 steps within the sequence to practice until the student has mastered each step.

 

5. Regulate Water Temperature
Who is it for: Beginner learners
In this scene you will find a visual story introducing hot versus cold water and a video model on how to regulate water from the sink.

To Differentiate:
• For intermediate learners: Incorporate a visual story on when it is appropriate to use hot water and when it is appropriate to use cold water (i.e. taking a shower versus drinking water)
• For advanced learners: Fade supports and encourage the student to turn water to “hot” and turn water to “cold”. If additional support is needed, the video model is available to view.

To import from the community library:
1. Navigate to the community library
2. Tap on the scene you want to import
3. Tap on the import button

Your scene is now located in My Library under My Downloaded Supports

Add the scene to your desktop:
1. Enter edit mode
2. Tap on the green plus sign to add scene
3. Add scene from My Library
4. Select the scene you want to add
5. Tap import. Your scene is now imported to your current location.
