Targets:

• For advanced learners, embed choice board hotspots to answer WHY questions.

 

3. Receptive Identification of Street Signs
Who it is for: Beginner Learners
Targets:
• 4 popular street signs with auditory output to reinforce each name

To Differentiate:
• For intermediate learners, incorporate choice boards to address functions of each sign, (What sign means stop?)
• For advanced learners, create a visual story to incorporate these signs to generalize skills to real world environments.

4. Grocery Store Concepts
Who is it for: Advanced Learners

Targets:
• Modify existing schedule to personalize your shopping list
• Expressively identify items while in the store using the choice board
• Visual story about making a shopping list

To Differentiate:
• For beginner learners, incorporate a choice board to teach items which belong in a grocery store.
• For intermediate learners, use a choice board with folders to categorize items in different departments of the grocery store.

 

5. At the Library
Who is it for: Intermediate Learners

Targets:
• Voice hotspots help navigate areas of the library
• Positive behavior support reminders for appropriate library behavior
• Visual schedule to support checking out books

To Differentiate:
• For beginner learners, incorporate a simple First Then schedule to target appropriate behavior and attending while in the location.
• For advanced learners, use a choice board to introduce fiction and nonfiction reading materials.

To import from the community library:
1. Navigate to the community library
2. Tap on the scene you want to import
3. Tap on the import button

Your scene is now located in My Library under My Downloaded Supports

Add the scene to your desktop:
1. Enter edit mode
2. Tap on the green plus sign to add scene
3. Add scene from My Library
4. Select the scene you want to add
5. Tap import Your scene is now imported to your current location.
